1. Debbie’s Essay
Many people have the mindset that war is not something that they should worry about. But actually, you should. War is the state of armed conflict between different countries or different groups within a country. Therefore, in my opinion, I strongly agree that war should be illegal in our world because war will bring a lot of negative impact like causing people to face hardship to survive, destroying the beauty of nature and the future of children will be darker.
First and foremost, it is worth considering that war will make people face hardship to survive. This is because when war happens, people will live in fear and they had to find a way to live even if forced to use or eat something unusual. For instance, people in Palestine do not have clean water to survive during war. In order to survive they forced themselves to drink dirty water that can cause illnesses. People in Palestine also did not get enough sleep because they are very scared of Israel. Additionally, Israel also hijacks their food supply that they have and this inhumane action will lead people especially the children to face malnutrition. In short, war can make it harder for people to live their life in a normal way therefore war should be illegal.
Secondly, war also can destroying the beauty of nature in every country. Imagine that if the bomb lay on the ground, all of the trees, flowers and even the buildings will be gone in the blink of an eye. I am very sure that it is hard to restore it back since it needs a lot of time to clean and plant all of it. As an illustration, the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 1945 left deep scars on nature and this shows us just how destructive the damage from the atomic bomb. United States had to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki to bring the war with Japan to spare American lives. But they did it without thinking about the side effects of the bomb. Thus, war can really destroy the beauty of nature in the blink of an eye so we must really make war into a crime and declare that it is illegal and unacceptable.
Last but not least, war can make the future of children darker. Every person including a child has the right to have their own ambition. Some of them want to be a doctor and some want to be a lawyer. But unfortunately, we cannot plan it without knowing what will happen next. We can take a look at the children in Syria. It is sad to know that young kids, who have a lot of ambition was forced to go to war and join the army. Imagine. They did not have any idea on how to use the tools for warfare but they had to. In consequence, they end up dying and severely injured. Thus, war is literally not a joke and can make children’s future darker and that is why we must make war illegal to save the children.
To recapitulate, war is the scariest thing in the world that all people are afraid of. War should be illegal because it can cause hardship to everyone to survive, destroying killing the beauty of nature and even causing the future of children will be terrible if we do not do something to save the future generations. In order to avoid war, our government should have a visionary leader like Tunku Abdul Rahman who is the Father of Independence. Therefore, we can live in a peaceful life and live in a harmonious country.
2. Nur Zurainizah’s Essay
What is war? War happens when there are two different countries dealing with conflict. These days, there are a lot of news reported regarding to war. It is saddening because war will affect everyone including kids and the next generation. War could affect one mentally and physically. We can see that nothing good can be achieved out of it and thus I agree that war should be illegal because every human being deserves a better place to live, grow and learn. There are many reasons why civilians should not romanticize war, war could affect children’s lives, kill people and war contains violence.
First and foremost, war could affect children’s lives. All children deserve to live happily and peacefully. It is an obligation for kids to get their education needs. Meanwhile, not all children are lucky enough to experience these stuffs because of war. There are some kids who are taught on how to hold a weapon rather than how to hold a pen correctly. For example, kids in Palestine are taught to hold weapon because Israel would kill hundred od innocent kids. It scares them as their lives are threatened. Thus, it is true that war affect children in such a dangerous way.
Secondly, war kill people without sympathy and empathy. Every news that are reported regarding to war will leave something in one’s life. People are killing each other for the sake of revenge, civil war or religion. War would leave nothing good to people but something bad that they will remember forever. For example, Israel kills people without a concrete reason. Almost everyone who got killed are innocent. Kids and elderly were killed and families are left by their dead family members. Hence, it is true that people are willing to kill each other for the sake of war.
Lastly, war contains violence. This happens when two parties using physical force to other people because of war. Violence due to war could leave something inside one’s life. Some soldiers got ADHD because of the violence that happened during war. It haunts them forever and some soldiers decided to take their own lives. For example, physicians noticed that some soldiers who returned home after World War II suffered with ADHD symptoms. Therefore, it is true that war contains violence that will haunt one’s life.
To sum up, war only brings disasters to a country. War can be stopped if a country has a good leadership that will lead the country. Everyone deserves to breath in clean air and live peacefully without being threatened with bombs and weapons. I still strongly agree that war should be illegal in every country because children’s lives are threatened, killing people is immoral and war causes violence. I believe that those who suffer will find their peace sooner or later because there is a rainbow after the storm.

What is war? How does war happen? What are the effects of war to the world? These days, there are a lot of news reported regarding to war. War is an action taken by a country to resolve a problem with an opposing country. Therefore, in my humble opinion, I strongly agree that war should be illegal in our world. This is because war could affect children’s lives, killing innocent people and destroys the environment.
First and foremost, war could affect children’s lives. All children deserve to live happily and peacefully. Meanwhile, not all children are lucky enough to experience these stuffs because of war. As an illustration, kids in Palestine are taught to hold weapon because Israel would kill hundreds of innocent kids.Thus, it is true that war affects children in such a dangerous way.
Secondly, war could kill innocent people. This is because not all citizens are involved in the war. When the war begins, they will fall victim to the bombs dropped by the opponents. For instance, we can see there a lot of people died as result of a bomb dropped by the U.S. military in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Therefore, this is why war should be illegal to prevent people from dying because of the war could kill innocent people.
Last but not least, war destroys the environment. This is the side effects of war. When war starts, they did not really care about the environment such as trees and animals. This is why war can cause a lot of damage, there will be lack of clean air because the carbon quantity in air is more than oxygen. To illustrate, we can see in Syria. During war, there are no trees standing because all the trees were burned from the explosion and all animals were dying because of lack of food and shooted by the opponent army. Hence, war should be illegal to save our country and protect the beauty of nature.
In conclusion, it is true that war should be illegal because it destroys children’s lives, murder innocent citizens and it will cause the destruction of nature. I hope that we could change the world to a better place. Together we fight against the war.
Why did I choose these three essays? This is because we can see that each of their paragraphs has their own examples, and their essays also have concrete examples. All the examples they give in the paragraph are relevant to their main point. In addition they also wisely associate the main point with the concept of explanation. After reading all their essays I agree that war should be banned because war brings many negative effects to the country especially to the people and future generations. Lastly even though in their sentences there are some grammatical errors and spelling errors, I am sure they can overcome the problem.They also developed their ideas well. I hope they can produce a better essay and can get full marks during the exam later.
